Dear Mayor Tory and Councillors,

I am writing today to express my full and complete support of the Yonge Street Midtown Active TO Pilot. The benefits of this installation greatly outweigh any negatives that have occurred. In particular, the pilot has created safe spaces for the city's most vulnerable street users. This is of great concern to me and I hope that you all continue building on the great work by making this pilot permanent. It has been a great lifeline for the community during the pandemic and will continue to be used as time goes on. Pedestrians are safer and cyclists of all ages now feel comfortable spending time on Yonge Street, myself included. I urge you to make this pilot permanent for the benefit of all Torontonians.
